THE JEWS

Down through the ages, many Churches have deliberately taught millions of people that the Jews and Israel, were permanently excluded from God's favour, which is quite opposite to Bible teaching. Not only so, they have insulted the Jews by teaching the unprovable "dogma" of the Trinity, which not only teaches that GOD IS THREE, when the Jewish Bible says He is ONE, BUT it also teaches that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the "mother of God". This blasphemous teaching reaches back to the idolatry of Babylon (inherited by many Churches), where people were taught to worship Semiramis (the mother) and Nimrod (the reincarnated 'child'), or, in the case of later Church teaching about Jesus, the "incarnated" child.

QUEEN OF THE WORLD: Semiramis was presented by the Babylonian 'priesthood', as "mother of all men and QUEEN OF THE WORLD." This same teaching is recorded on page 94 of a Church Catechism for Schools, dated 1 st September 1963. The quote reads......"Now in heaven, she (Mary) is still the Mother of all men, and the second Eve, THE QUEEN OF THE WORLD."

COME OUT OF HER: It is no wonder then, that Jesus instructed John to write in Rev 18:4..."Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Jesus had just identified a "harlot woman" as a City which "reigneth over the kings of the earth". The advice Jesus gives is very sound.

KILLED "GOD!" (The Lord Jesus!!). The foregoing had to be written because many Church entities claim that the Jews have no further part in the plan and purpose of God, because, as 'they had killed Jesus', they had in fact "killed God", known to these Churches as 'god the Son'. To the enquiring Bible Student, it seems incongruous that Churches which in fact "know not God", thinking He is Jesus, have the temerity to speak and write about God's plan with nations and people, particularly with the Jews.

THE SEED….(The Lord Jesus). The plan of salvation the Father outlined in Gen.3:15, demands a "seed" (descendant) which would "bruise the serpents head", not the devil of tradition, but the power of sin which tragically affects all men and women. (James 1:15) That seed was promised also to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David, and the promise can be traced through the following Scriptures....Gen.12:1-3...Gen.15:18-21....Gen.17:1-8 ... Gen.18:18 Gen.22:17-18...Gen.26:3-4...Gen.28:13-14.....2 Sam.7:12-16....Ps.132:11...Isaiah 7:14.....Isaiah 9:6-7...Ez..21:27....Ez.34:13-23...Luke 1:31-32....Gal.3:8...Gal.3:29. We are told in Heb 9-26, that Jesus, the "seed", (the Jew.)... .."put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself". He was the promised seed of the woman and His descent was through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David, as the genealogy in Matthew chapter one shows conclusively

Had He been "god the (eternal) Son", he could not have been the seed of Abraham, which, even in his immortalised state, he claimed to be. (Rev 22:16)

AN EVERLASTING COVENANT: The promises to the ancients were 'eternal promises'......described in Gen.17:7-8 as an EVERLASTING COVENANT....."I will establish my covenant between me and thee and THY SEED AFTER THEE in their generations, FOR AN EVERLASTING COVENANT, TO BE A GOD UNTO THEE .... and to they seed after thee....And I will give unto thee and thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger ...ALL THE LAND OF CANAAN FOR AN EVERLASTING POSSESSION."

There are three important things in this Scripture.....1. The Father made an EVERLASTING COVENANT with Abraham which has NEVER been revoked. 2. Under that Covenant, Abraham and his seed after him...the Jewish nation, was promised everlasting possession of the Land of Canaan, which stretches (under promise) from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates River....... 3. The COVENANT and the POSSESSION promised to Abraham being FOR EVER, demands the resurrection and eternal life of Abraham, to whom the promises were made. We challenge anyone, anywhere, to show from the Scriptures where the covenant promises to Abraham were revoked. The Psalmist of Psalm 89:34, assures us of the certainty of the Father's promises by writing...."MY COVENANT WILL I NOT BREAK, NOR ALTER THE THING THAT IS GONE OUT OF MY LIPS."

HIS SEED:

The claim by many Churches that the 'promises' of the Father now only apply to the 'church', falls down badly in the face of plain Scripture. Luke was moved to warn that there would be "weeping and gnashing of teeth", when some see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom and "yourselves thrust out". The promises of "the Gospel preached to Abraham", included "HIS SEED", so its not likely that Abraham , Isaac and Jacob would be in the Kingdom on their own, the more so as Jesus told the Disciples that in the regeneration (the Kingdom) they would "judge" the twelve Tribes of Israel. (Matt 19:28) (See also Revelation 7:4)

COMPASSION:

Not only so, Moses told Israel before they entered the Land the first time, the time would come when they would be scattered to all parts of the earth , but also that He will " have compassion on thee and will return and gather thee from all the nations whither the Lord hath scattered thee."..(Deut 30:3) Amos, the Prophet to the ten Tribes, wrote of Israel..."I ( the Lord) will bring again the captivity of my people Israel.....and I will plant them upon their own land and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them." (Amos 9:14-15. Ezekiel adds to Amos' words of the future for Israel..."I have gathered them to their own land ....I have poured out my spirit upon the HOUSE OF ISRAEL."(Ez.39:28-29

FAITH:

The scattering of Israel was the Lord's doing....the regathering of Israel is also the Lord's doing and their possessing the Land for an everlasting possession will be the Lord's doing. The writer to the Hebrews stated that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob "..died in faith not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were persuaded of them and embraced them". (Heb.11:13). That faith was accounted unto them as righteousness. (Gal 3:6) They were Jewish promises to Jewish inheritors!. The promises God made to Abraham concerning him and his seed, entailed Abraham's seed, the Jews, becoming a great nation and possessing the Land which the Father had provided for them. Even though Israel did not do all the things expected of them, the promises of the Father were NEVER RESCINDED and thus they are still to be fulfilled. Not only so, the promise that all nations should be blessed through the "seed", has also not been fulfilled.

FOUR THOUSAND YEARS HISTORY:

We read in Deuteronomy 28:58-68 the steps the Father promised He would take if Israel did not "observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD". Those verses are like a pre-written history of the Jewish race for the next 4,000 years, but....NO WHERE, in any other part of the Bible, are the readers told that the Father would permanently cast aside those who were selected as His special and "peculiar people". (Deut.14:2)

CORRECT-PUNISH:

Twice in the prophecies by Jeremiah, the Father promised Israel, that whilst he undoubtedly was going to punish them for their waywardness and their refusal to obey His requirements of them, "yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure and will not leave thee altogether unpunished." (Jer.30:11). The reason was...."I will be sanctified in you before their (the heathen) eyes". (Ez.36:23) We MUST keep in mind that it was the Father's decision that His great Name was to be sanctified and vindicated to the whole world, THROUGH ISRAEL.......not through any other nation , but only through the Jews of Israel. That decision is final and CANNOT be altered, as we have read from Psalm 89:34..." My covenant will I not break nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips".

SCATTERED:

In Deuteronomy 28 from verse 58 to verse 68, there is listed all the things the Lord said He would do to Israel for their unfaithfulness and every word of it came true, particularly verse 64..." And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other:" We are told in many places, that the land would become desolate..(Jer.7:34).

Moses tells us of the reasons why, in Deuteronomy 29:24-28 " Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger? Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD GOD of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: For they went and served OTHER GODS, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day."

The simple reasons why God scattered Israel were that they had turned their back on Him and because they had worshipped "other gods", of wood and stone. BUT, was this to be the end of the promises to Israel?.........NO!

REGATHERED:

In Deuteronomy 30-3/9 we read of the final purpose of the Father...." That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: "

NO MORE PULLED UP:

Again we remind our readers that NO WHERE in the Scriptures have any of these promises to the Jews of Israel, been rescinded, but rather Israel is fulfilling the promise of the return to the land, in this, our day. They are returning to the land to "rebuild...replant and re-inhabit" the cities and towns, as prophesied by Zech. 8:8.."And I will bring them and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem."......by Ezekiel 36:11..."I will settle you after your old estates..."....by Jeremiah 31:28...."Like as I have watched over them to pluck up......so will I watch over them to build and plant.".......by Micah 7:14...."Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old."....by Amos 9:15...."I will plant them upon their Land and they shall no more be pulled up."....by Isaiah 60:21..".They shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting , the work of my hands..."

NOT CAST OFF PERMANENTLY:

The Apostle Paul, writing in the letter to the Romans, chapter 11, explains very carefully to the New Covenant Church...."GOD HATH NOT CAST AWAY HIS PEOPLE which He foreknew"..(V.2) and that it was to be "through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles..."..(V.11)...and he goes on to ask..."if the (temporary) casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, WHAT SHALL THE RECEIVING OF THEM BE, BUT LIFE FROM THE DEAD?" He thus envisaged a time when the Jews of Israel would be received back into the favour of the Father when Jesus comes and both the dead are raised, and Israel, previously dead in hope are received back into favour.

In Romans 11-24 Paul prophecies that the natural branches of the Olive tree (the Jews of Israel) would be "graffed into THEIR OWN Olive tree" and he warns Gentiles, and Gentile Churches....."For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, UNTIL the fullness of the gentiles be come in.....V.26..And so ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED....V.27...For this is my covenant unto them, WHEN I SHALL TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS....V.28...they are beloved for the Father's sakes.". The Israel Paul is referring to, is NOT the "Israel of the Churches", but, Paul makes sure we understand, it is the nation of Israel, with whom the Father made the Covenant in the first place.

A CHRONOLOGY OF THE JEWS AND THEIR LAND:

BC 1920 Abraham called from Ur of the Chaldees to be a father of many nations.

BC 1800's The times of the Patriarchs. Outstanding promises involving all mankind..

Genesis 12:13...Galations 3:16 ..."And to thy seed which is Christ".

BC 1720 Joseph sold into slavery in Egypt.

BC 1570 Moses born. A great deliverer is raised up.

BC 1490 Israel leaves Egypt....Wilderness wanderings. Israel given 'the Law'.

BC 1450 Joshua appointed as leader to succeed Moses. Conquest of Canaan begins.

BC 1375 Period of the Judges commences.. Othniel, Deborah,Samson,Gideon etc.

BC 1095 Transition of leadership from Judges to Kings. Saul the first King.

BC 1055 David's 40 year reign commences. Notable Covenant Promises (2 Sam.7) The promise of Jesus to occupy David's throne in the future. (Luke 1:32) (This period was followed by 500 years rule by various Kings, coinciding with the work of the Prophets, prominent amongst whom were, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel.)

BC 975 The Kingdom divided. Israel (north), and Judah (south).

BC 931 Jeroboam proclaimed King of Israel (north)

BC 722 Captivity of Israel (north)....Samaria taken by Assyria.

BC 701 Sennacherib comes against Jerusalem.

BC 603 Jerusalem surrenders to Nebuchadnezzar .

BC 588 Jerusalem besieged.

BC 586 The Temple burnt in the 5 th month. Last King of Judah, Zedekiah, blinded and taken to Babylon.

BC 538 Cyrus, having taken Babylon, authorises the rebuilding of the Temple. Judea under Persian rule. Zerubbabel leads 42,360 Jews back to Jerusalem

BC 537 Foundation of the Temple laid, giving hope that the House of David would be renewed.

BC 458 Ezra leads another 1,755 Jews back to Jerusalem.

BC 332 Alexander the Great having defeated the Persians, visits Jerusalem. Greek language and culture spreads across the world.

BC 323 Alexander died and Judea annexed to Egypt (Ptolemy Soter)

BC 200 Judea annexed to Syria.

BC 166 Events leading to Jewish independence under the Maccabees. Expansion of the territory made possible. Work of Judas Maccabee and Antiochus 4 prominent.

BC 142 Judea obtains full independence.

BC 140 Hasmonean State dynasty took over.

BC 37 Herod took Jerusalem and killed the last of the Maccabean Priest/Kings.

BC 18 Rebuilding of the Temple begun.

AD 66 Outbreak of Jewish war against Rome.

AD 70 Destruction of Jerusalem and Temple by Vespasian and Titus. Many Jews escape and the Apostles continue to proclaim the Gospel.

AD 135 Bar Cocheba rebellion of Jews . More Jews driven out and Jerusalem renamed Colonia Aelia Capitolina. A Temple to Jupiter built on the site of Solomon's Temple.

AD 325 Constantine decrees that Christianity is the religion of the Roman Empire.

AD 614 Jerusalem taken by the Persians...another enormous massacre.

AD 628 Jerusalem retaken by Rome under Heraclius.

AD 638 Jerusalem surrendered to Islam led by Omar .

AD 691 Dome of the Rock Mosque completed near the site of Solomon's Temple.

AD 1099 Crusaders take Jerusalem and a "Christian Kingdom" lasted for 88 years.

AD 1517 The Ottaman took the land and it decays.

AD 1880 Pogroms in Eastern Europe cause Jews to listen to the pleas of the Rabbis to "flee from the land of the North". Only 30,000 Jews in the land. Zionism established as a National Movement

AD 1897 The First Zionist Congress in Basle, Switzerland. The aim was to establish a home for the Jewish people.

AD 1917 The British took the land and Jerusalem surrendered to Lord Allenby. The Balfour Declaration ensured Chaim Weizmann's dream of a national home for the Jews eventuates. Nearly 100,000 Jews in the Land.

AD 1941 Hitler commenced his plan to exterminate Europe's Jews. Over six million Jews die in murder camps in Poland etc. 400,000 Jews in the Land.

AD 1945 World War 2 ends with a death toll of over 50 million people. Hitler suicided and Germany in ruins. Jews attempt to flood into Israel and Britain, urged on by the Arabs, tried to stop the migration.

AD 1947 The nations of the world vote for a Jewish State in Palestine.

AD 1948 The reborn STATE OF ISRAEL proclaimed. 660,000 Jews in the Land. Arabs flee as Islam's millions fought against Israel, only to lose.

AD 1956 Israel invades across the Sinai and defeat the Egyptian Army, taking enormous booty provided by Russia.

AD 1967 Israel battles Islam's millions in the '6 day war' and wins and takes Jerusalem as it's Capital. Islam allowed to keep the Temple Mount.

AD 1973 Yom Kippur war results in Israeli troops being stopped by international pressure not far from Cairo. A complete Egyptian Army surrounded in the Suez region. The result...... a 'peace treaty' between Israel and Egypt. 2,600,000 Jews in the land.

AD 1987 The Intifada starts as the Arabs step up pressure to rid the land of Jews.

AD 1994 "Peace talks" start between Israel and Palestinians, led by Yasser Arafat. Jericho subsequently given to the Palestinians.

AD 1996 Prime Minister Rabin assassinated and Likud's Mr Netanyahu becomes P/M. Hebron to be given to the Palestinians. 4,200,000 Jews in the land.

AD 1997 Israel faces a hostile world. Yasser Arafat demands East Jerusalem for a Palestinian Capital and Syria demands the Golan Heights.

AD 1999 Mr Netanyahu defeated at the polls and Ehud Barak proclaimed P/M. He vows to continue the 'peace process started by the assassinated P/M Rabin. Hizbullah rejects all peace projects and vows to continue fighting against Israel irrespective of any 'peace process'.
