Time of the End

WHAT ABOUT ISRAEL?

All through the Bible we are told that the Jewish people would return to the land in the last days before Christ’s return. Joel 3v1-2 speaks of the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem being reversed in our days, and this has been fulfilled in the events of 1948 and 1967. Jeremiah 16v15, 31v8, Ezekiel 37 and Luke 21v24 tell a similar story.

The purpose of Armageddon is to humble the nations and bring them into a state of mind whereby they might acknowledge Jesus Christ as King. However Armageddon also will bring upon the Jewish people a catastrophe so great, that in their time of greatest suffering, they will accept their true Messiah who will come to save them. Without a catastrophe like this, they would continue to reject their true Messiah.

“So all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The deliverer will come to Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” (Romans 11v26-27, quoting Isaiah 59v21-21)

This is simple to understand. There are so many passages of Scripture which reveal in plain, easy to understand language that the Jewish people will repent and turn to their true Messiah Jesus Christ. We ask the vital question: How is it that most churches today teach that there is no hope for the Jewish nation, when there is such an abundance of evidence to show that they will repent of their sins and turn to Jesus Christ? God has not forgotten His people Israel. He wants them to be saved and will do whatever is necessary for them to seek Him in repentance:

“But Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting…” (Isaiah 45v17)

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” (Isaiah 49v15)

“ “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.” “ (Isaiah 43v10)

“I am with you and will save you, declares the Lord. Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.” (Jeremiah 30v11)

This is only part of the story, but we urge you to read these Scriptures for yourself and especially to read the context. The Bible was written to be understood if we approach it with an honest and humble attitude with a desire to find truth.
