• The books
hosted at TCO have mostly been scanned and so there are occassional OCR
errors. For these we apologise and ask that readers forward the URL and
details to us. We will greatly appreciate your help in this regard.
• Some of these books carry copyright so those outside the community,
ie. visitors, must be aware that these are available for your own personal
viewing benefit and should not be reproduced or duplicated without the
relevant publishers permission.
• The information must not be altered in any way so as to mis-represent
our community or our beliefs, ie. text taken out of context is an example
of possible misuse.
• If any material is quoted, it is suggested that you quote the
source, ie. the book title, author, and the page or book's URL.
• While this website's webmaster agrees with the principle that
works should be protected against the misuse of material by those outside
the community and that material should be accurately documented, we also
realise that copyright is a legal position adopted by worldly institutions
and that our duty as servants of Christ takes a higher priority to worldly
and monetary concerns. The traditional copyright standing is that no copyright
exists on Christadelphian writings, and that every effort should be made
to preach the Word. However we realise that there must be protection from
outside forces and institutions which don't have our materials' benefits
at heart and wish to distort our writings to conform to their own intentions.
For this reason we are developing a new book viewing system which should
be available in 2006, God willing. This will be a Macromedia Flash book
viewer which prevents the copying of information but a feature will allow
visitors to request material and state their intended use of the information.
The benefit of the Flash book viewer is that navigation will be simpler,
quicker and more accessible. This system will replace the existing html
formatted books.
The webmaster would
like to express his appreciation to the writers and publishers of these
works and hopes that they will be of assistance to our visitors' understanding
of God's Word. Our intention is to make available only a selection of
books on fundamental issues or that are key preaching works.
Please
note that where permission is asked for but no reply to communications
is received, that this is taken as consent due to our traditional understanding
within the community of use of material.
24 One man gives
freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give,
and only suffers want.
25 A liberal man will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be
watered.
26 The people curse him who holds back grain, but a blessing is on the
head of him who sells it.
27 He who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who
searches for it.
28 He who trusts in his riches will wither, but the righteous will flourish
like a green leaf. Prov 11v24-28. RSV
