i'm not the kind of person who can read five different books on one subject (like Biblical History), just so as to get an objective understanding. I wish i was that kind of person, but i'm not, i need a resource that is trustworthy, objective, etc.

Bible version inconsistency is not acceptable to me, it doesn't matter how good the translaters are, if they don't have the correct original manuscript, the whole translated Bible is worthless.

If anyone out there knows of any particularly authoritative books on this topic or maybe even some blogs dedicated to this subject, i would greatly appreciate it.

And/or, if there are any threads on this forum that have discussed this subject, i wouldn't mind reading them as well. But the subject needs to be origanl texts, not debates on modern bible version inconsistencies.

thanks so much :book:

I strongly recommend The New Testament Documents: Are They Reliable? by Dr F. F. Bruce, as an excellent introduction to the subject. :book:

You might also want to try the online Encyclopedia of New Testament Textual Criticism. :book:
