Some back I had a chart that equated each of the days of creation to a millennium.

The 7th day or Sabbath types the kingdom period - Hebrews 4:1-11.

Does anyone know what the other days of creation type.

Unfortunately the chart that I had went missing many years ago. ;)

If any one can help or even give me a link to a copy of the chart it would be very much appreciated.

Mercia2 hasn't posted for a while but he's well into this sort of thing. The thread "Genesis 1 Intentional Paradox" has some stuff in it.

Thanks for the thread.I found it but it is fairly verbose. One will need to spend some time looking through it

On the first page

Quote

The seventh "day" or 7th thousand year period would be the millinial reign of Christ on the earth (where the kingdoms of the earth become the kingdoms of Christ and God). The first "2 days" (2000 years) represent the time from Adam to the calling of Abram. The second set of "2 days "(next 2000 years or cumulative total of 4 days) goes from the calling of Abram to the time of Christ. In Genesis, the sun or "great light" as it's called was created on the 4th day, just as Christ who is the "Sun of righteousness"-according to Malachi 4 came to the earth on the 4th day or four thousandth year. The next "2 days" I believe represent the church age, and the final or 7th "day" climaxes with the thousand year reign of Christ on the earth

That's a start anyway. I would have thought this would have been fairly easy to get answers to. I will keep looking through that thread. :book:

I searched through the remaining pages for that thread but it did not contain anything that really covered the subject (searched for creation week/creation parable).

It seemed to descend into a creation verses evolution discussion. :book:

Has anyone else got any ideas?

I was hunting through my filing cabinet and I found the chart I was looking for. :)

It is called "The Parable of Creation"

No publisher or printer named.

The only thing is that it was not quite what I thought it was ;)

I thought it was going to present ideas that were fairly clear cut.
The chart is interesting nevertheless. I might be able to develop the ideas a bit further. :book:

been working on this for quite some time myself, each day does in fact represent equivalent 1000 year periods of Biblical history, as God intended them to 'from the beginning'.....the Bible echoes are astounding to say the least....maybe one of these days i'll get around to posting more details in the Gen 1 allegory thread, hehe :book:
Joel 2:7, 11 "They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:...And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?"
