I can't remember exactly how long it's been up and running but BTDF was created somewhere around October last year and the parent site already existed at that stage, so... June/July of 2002, perhaps?
Mishael probably knows the exact date.

just on your comments, and the URL you sent the other day to me about setting up the website for the ecclesia you have been attending, I thought it very well done, and sent the URL onto our webmaster for him to have a look at, and our webmaster is Zenas on the forums.
... getting back to this site, www.theChristadelphians.org, and a bit of the history.
Last year, 17 March 2002 I was sent and advertisement for Domain names to my work address, I had in mind to set up a website, but perhaps this was the prompt.
I checked the domain name, theChristadelphians.org, and to my surprise it was still available, so I purchased it for 5 years and also 50Mb of webspace.
I wrote to Fortigurn with the idea, and Fortigurn then set about to recruit others, and in so doing, and a friend and brother from South Africa, who had also recently produced the Bible Truth CD, of course Evangelion has been a major contributor too along with many other brethren, Socinian who have contributed and also others who have given permissions to host the books they have written, or the publishers.
One thing I remember though is Zenas was impressed at the time with 50Mb of webspace.
Well, the webspace started to be used, and I thought we would need a little more, so around June that year we moved to another webhost - which gave us 250Mb - and yes, soon that was nearly all used, so the next one we moved to it was 2Gb of webspace and 20Gb of traffic - thought it may have been a bit of over-kill at the time but in view that we had been discussing a forum, and also wanting to host MP3's such space would be needed, and the package is a re-sellers so we can host a number of sites off this package.
We moved to the current host in October/November last year, and the forum was set up in the December - initially it was XMB, a test forum - the forum is still there, however Evangelion preferred Invision Board, so I uploaded this board onto the site, and it worked (I won't tell you about the little disaster we had in the first couple of weeks ) but basically this board has been going since 27 December 2002.
Off the main site we also host the CBM South Africa pages, and also Fortigurn's pages which are jonno also hosting Printland Publishers (content still to be uploaded for Printland) and our webmasters pages Brain Wave Studio.
We have used approximately 1.5Gb's of webspace thus far, however I have recently upgraded the package again in view that we will also be hosting material in other languages, Chinese, French, Czech etcetera, plus also we do have a number of email accounts which also have to be taken into consideration, plus also it is the intention to have a number of email groups running, but just trying to rectify a problem with Mailman re mailing lists.
For the past several months we have been exceeding 1,000,000 hits per month with an average of about 500 visitors per day, last week on one day there were 1000+ visitors.
These are the countries so far who have visited us since we moved to the new service provider, and of course not all would be listed in view that a number of the IP addresses are listed as numerical.
Also on the forums, we do have regular guests, 2 from France and one from Spain who visit us like clockwork each day, and of course others..

I have a friend who works for a Government Sponsored organisation. It doens't necessarily have to do with military per se - think "Fat Man and Little Boy" and that should give you a good clue.
Hmm, now why would the US government and military want to visit us?
"I AM SPARTACUS!"
"It's the VIBE..."
