Hello BTDF team,

This might already have been done, but if not ...

Here's a web page with lots of "country general" Christadelphian preaching sites on: -
http://www.cbm4yu.com/links.html

I've found at least two country that're missing:
* Tanzania - http://www.cbm-tz.org
* Hungary - http://www.cbmhu.org

(The Tanzanian site has some material in both Swahili and Nyakusa (it's hoping to have material in Fipa and Ha, too).)

A few of the links might not be active any more (e.g. the Russian one; I think it should be - http://www.dobrie-vesti.ru ), and someone of the links are "country general" (e.g. the NZ one).

I was wondering if it might be useful to have these pinned in a general section of the Pentecost section of the forum and/or in the Links section so people who come to this forum can find them easily.

The sites linked to are (I think I've got all the ones working):
* French - http://www.god-so-lo...org/french.html
* German - http://www.christadelphian.de
* Polish - http://www.angelfire.com/biz/KRAJ
* Portugese - http://cristadelfianos.planetaclix.pt
* Spanish - http://www.labiblia.com
* Chinese - http://www.shengjing.org
* Neatherlands, The - http://www.broedersinchristus.nl
* UK, The - http://www.christadelphianals.org(or also http://www.ukchristadelphians.org.uk )
* Indonesean - http://www.thechrist...onesia_home.htm
* Italian - http://www.italianocristadelfiani.org
* Korean - http://www.korbible.net
* Ugandan - http://www.bibleuganda.fslife.co.uk (this has, or will have, material in some of the many Ugandan languages)
* Norwegian - http://www.bibelblad.org/index.jsp
* Australian - http://www.users.big...here are we.htm(or, http://www.christadelphian.org.au )
* Amreicas (North, Central & South + the Caribbean), The - http://www.christadelphia.org
* Singapore - http://www.shengjing.org/singapore.htm

The additions could be:
* Tanzania - http://www.cbm-tz.org
* Hungary - http://www.cbmhu.org
* Russia (& all Russian speaking countries?) - http://www.dobrie-vesti.ru

If anyone knows anymore "country general" sites, post them here and maybe we can put them all in one pinned place later on.

Spread the Word!

I forwarded the French site to a brother in our ecclesia who is French. He reads his bible in French and is always looking for Cds literature in French.

No problem opening up the site...however, when you "click" on one of the pamphlets etc, you get nothing.

Not a very good preaching tool to send if they can't open any of the literature listed. :please:

Are we missing something?

It looks like there are three leaflets that are avaliable at the moment (the open on my computer, anyway):
- Disciples de Christ au vingtième siècle
- L'épître de Jacques
and
- Le Père, le Fils et le Saint-Esprit

There's also an email address: d.a.smith@iname.com

Possibly not amazing, but a start, anyway.

There is this section for French also:

http://www.thechrist...ans.org/french/

as well as the "French" forum section in Pentecost

http://www.thechrist...p?showforum=124

where the pamphlets are full text.

I do have a couple of others that still need doing, and will be in the next several months, as well as Czech booklets, as well as other booklets.

Ricardo, if the French brother is interested, he may care to post in the French section... I know we do have readers - the IP addresses from French speaking countries viewing that forum from time to time - something to think about.

There is also a whole group of Bible Reading Companions in different languages available here:

Hi all,

I know that this is years out of date, but I was interested in the comment in the latest reply that

... the files are presently sitting there in zips and scans waiting for mañana

I'm currently in the process of trying to get as much of the literature in Indian languages as possible up and available on the site ChristadelphiansIndia.com, and was wondering whether I might be able to get access to these files (at least the Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil) - anyone know who I might be able to contact about it? I also tried contacting someone about updating the god-so-loved-the-world.org site a while back, but nothing really happened - again, anyone know who might be able to help?

As a side issue, if there is a list of Christadelphian foreign language literature collated on the web, the ChristadelphiansIndia.com site would be worth adding for about half a dozen languages - I can give links if desired.

Cathy.

Hi Cathy

Steven mentioned a while ago that someone from Melbourne was now looking after the site or more getting it up to speed with various languages - but it more seems to be at a standstill (the problem seems to be there is a lot of enthusiasm for sites, and offers of assistance - but then it seems to become a mammoth project and assistants drop out, real life comes into play, and sites start to "stand still" in time:

http://www.god-so-loved-the-world.org

though also seemed to recall that there was some other problem - that the site crashed - that may have been a year or two back - but seems to be ok - and also, I guess time-wise for those undertaking the project.

There is also this:

http://cbmresources....ther-languages/

And I can add the links there.

The listing of other languages:

ACBM Listing

http://www.god-so-lo...bm_lit_list.htm

CBM Listing

http://www.god-so-lo...bm_lit_list.htm

The problem has also been, and even with a number of the English Scans that the scan has been done - not checked (it seems) - and they are rather in a bit of a needs someone who knows the language whether English or another who can read through them and "fix" the errors - and whether waiting for manana to check them - whether it has been done yet or not - but the files are probably available on the site - just not in the public arena.

If you like I can ask SCox about the availability :)

I will also add on the CBMR site - the India books and links, and back to christadelphiansindia.com

Hi Kay

If I could do anything to help with it I'd be happy to. Do you know who from Melbourne was trying to update the site? I'm in Melbourne too, and might be able to get together with them - unless it's a reference to a email I sent a few months back, commenting on things that needed updating (but it got no further)? You sound like you know who deals with the site - if you could put me in contact with them maybe we could see whether I can contribute, whether dealing with updating the site or working with scans. Thanks!

Hi Cathy

Have sent you a private message ... or soon will ... just had to transfer one of the mailboxes from my old computer (and then work out how to do it - a new operating system and you know how it goes! ;)) and have found what I was looking for, as in the box has been successfully transferred :)
