I found this statement on a page online explaining the Christadelphian "cult." I thought you all might enjoy a laugh.

"They believe that Jesus, up until his baptism, was simply the body that God had prepared for the Ch
rist to indwell. They believe that the Spirit descended upon Jesus at his baptism in the Jordan, and took possession of Him."

This is ridiculous, if anything Trinitarians are the ones who believe Jesus was merely a body prepared for the son of God to indwell.

While it's true that Jesus wasn't actually anointed with power until his baptism, it does not mean that the Christ indwelt him because that would require the Christ to already exist in substance as someone other than Jesus. Jesus is the Christ. And it is not the holy spirit which took possession of Jesus, but Jesus who was given possession of the holy spirit.

It blows my mind how dishonest people can be when describing other interpretations of the Bible, though we often say Trinitarianism is tritheism we should never say that when telling others what trinitarianism states for itself as a belief system.

The funniest thing about being a Christadelphian is when other people try to tell you what you believe.
"But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect..." (Heb 12:22-23)

It means "brothers in Christ" which can be found lots of places in the Bible.

For example in the Greek of Colossians 1:2:

τοῖς ἐν Κολοσσαῖς ἁγίοις καὶ πιστοῖς ἀδελφοῖς ἐν Χριστῷ· χάρις ὑμῖν καὶ εἰρήνη ἀπὸ θεοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν

That makes literally no sense whatsoever.

Lione D' ea: This is talking about your salvation brother because the sector you belong is not from God, because it is build only by man. Romans 10:3 Read:

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Lione D' ea: It is very important for your salvation to know the truth that thechristadelphians which you belong are invented only by man and not God. Why it is invented... in verse 18 stated:

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Lione D' ea: The Brethren in Christ which mention in verse two(2) is the brethren in faith inside of the true Church which Christ purchased His own blood, but your church which you belong are not purchased by Christ because there is no such word: thechristadelphians church, then how will you say you are brethren in Christ it?

I don't have a clue what you're trying to say. I can usually guess what someone means when their English isn't clear, but in this case I genuinely haven't a clue.

Would you be better suited to have someone from the Philippines to discuss the issues with you in your native language - LioneDea?

This could be arranged for you - let me know.
