Social Media and the ecclesia - Theistic Evolution

The last few years has seen a spike in the promotion of Theistic Evolution in our community via social media and the ecclesia. It is asserted that God did not specially create the miracle of life and all the amazing and diverse creatures which so powerfully display his power and divinity to even the ungodly and unrighteous as Romans 1:19-20 says.

Much of the contentions have been caused by a handful of people who currently have a number of social media pages openly promoting their divisive views for all the world to see.

Despite admitting that Christ, Paul, the early brethren and 99% of our community believe in a special creation. They still persist in promoting Darwinism in our midst.

If we try and stifle any dissent we will become a closed community. When others come with a dissenting view no matter how much we disagree with them it provides us with an opportunity to understand their point of view and through reason (Isa 1: 18) persuade them of the Truth. Once we can do this we can use this approach with others with a similar mindset.

You can't censor or stifle debate via social media. You don't own it so unless the owners actually blocks it you won't be successful. Just playing devils advocate here.

You can always reject a "heretic" if they fail to respond in a positive way Titus 3:9-11.

Otherwise I think that Matt 5:44-48 should be applied

[ Can anyone tell me why cut and paste just does not work. I like to supply full quotes but even when dialog comes up asks if its ok to access the clipboard, it still doesn't work. Its pointless having the icons on the tool bar for cut and paste if they don't work]
