I have been reading and researching different lost books of the bible. Is the book Adam and Eve 1 and 2 something that should be taken for truth or is it
something that should be disregaurded?
Also the book of The Secrets of Enoch? Why haven't I ever heard of these books?

How can you never have heard of it but still mention it? :bye:

If they're 'lost' how come they're available today?

And if Enoch is 'secret', how come people know about it?

Pam

I have been reading and researching different lost books of the bible.  Is the book Adam and Eve 1 and 2 something that should be taken for truth or is it
something that should be disregaurded?
Also the book of The Secrets of Enoch?  Why haven't I ever heard of these books?

The Jewish Encyclopedia, lists Apocryphal works, the comments of The Secrets of Enoch can be found here

and also further information on Apocryphal works, including the book Adam and Eve here

There is another interesting link here, Apocrypha, Deuterocanonical Books

Also, much to do with "Jewish Myths" and "Fables".

If you type in such in google, Jewish Myths Fables, and perhaps add Tobit, Judith, it will "hit" on a vast amount of opinion and detail on the subject, however, this site below specifies all the books, and gives detail and will be able to assist with you in your studies of these books, history, and opinion of such and other links:

Early Jewish Writings

Trust this assists, however, please feel free if you need any more information to ask in this section, which, of course, is also available to our guests to post in, and any of their questions or suggestions.

kind regards

Kay
