Exodus 34v6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Deuteronomy 31v17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?

2 Kings 22v13 Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.
22v16 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:

Psalms 30v4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
30v5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Psalms 78v38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

John 3v36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Colossians 3v5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Jesus' Anger

Mark 3v5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

Mark 11v15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
11v16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
11v17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

John 2v13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2v14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

The Danger of Anger

Matthew 5v22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Ephesians 4v26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Proverbs 14v17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

Proverbs 22v24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

Proverbs 29v22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.

Be not easily angered

1 Corinthians 13v5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

James 1v19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
1v20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Refrain from anger

Psalms 37v8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Colossians 3v8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Galatians 5v19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
5v20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
5v21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
