Isaiah 13v21 But wild beasts of the desert
shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful
creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance
there.
Jeremiah 51v26 And they shall not take of
thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but
thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.
1 Corinthians 15v3 For I delivered unto you
first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died
for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third
day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at
once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but
some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out
of due time.
Acts 1v3 To whom also he shewed himself alive
after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of
them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to
the kingdom of God:
Matthew 27v62 Now the next day, that followed
the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees
came together unto Pilate,
63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while
he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until
the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal
him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead:
so the last error shall be worse than the first.
65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make
it as sure as ye can.
66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the
stone, and setting a watch.
Romans 1v20 For the invisible things of him
from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood
by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead;
so that they are without excuse:

and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
1 Kings 22v3 And the king of Israel said unto
his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we
be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
Samuel 17:4
Leviticus 11v4 Nevertheless these shall ye
not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide
the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth
not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth
not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not
the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted,
yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall
ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and
in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any
living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination
unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not
eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that
shall be an abomination unto you.
Hosea 6v6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice;
and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
1 Samuel 28v6 And when Saul enquired of the
LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by
Urim, nor by prophets.
1 Chronicles 10v13 So Saul died for his transgression
which he committed against the LORD, even against the word
of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel
of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;
14 And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and
turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
2 Samuel 8v13 And David gat him a name when
he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt,
being eighteen thousand men.

of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen
thousand.
Matthew 27v3 Then Judas, which had betrayed
him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself,
and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief
priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent
blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and
departed, and went and hanged himself.
Acts 1v18 Now this man purchased a field with
the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder
in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
Ezekiel 37v1 The hand of the LORD was upon
me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set
me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold,
there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were
very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And
I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say
unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will
cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh
upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you,
and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied,
there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came
together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up
upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was
no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy,
son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these
slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came
into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an
exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole
house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and
our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause
you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the
land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened
your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and
I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that
I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they
all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments,
and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto
Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they
shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their
children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be
their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it
shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place
them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the
midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their
God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify
Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for
evermore.
Ezekiel 37v24 And David my servant shall be
king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they
shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes,
and do them.
Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for
evermore.
Luke 1v30 And the angel said unto her, Fear
not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring
forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest:
and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father
David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and
of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Isaiah 43v1 But now thus saith the LORD that
created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel,
Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by
thy name; thou art mine.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when
thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither
shall the flame kindle upon thee.
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom
I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand
that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall
there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when
there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses,
saith the LORD, that I am God.
Jeremiah 30v10 Therefore fear thou not, O
my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel:
for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the
land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall
be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though
I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered
thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct
thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
Luke 21v24 And they shall fall by the edge
of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations:
and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until
the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and
in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers
of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud
with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look
up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and
all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own
selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass,
know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Jeremiah 30v3 For, lo, the days come, saith
the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people
Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to
return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they
shall possess it.
Ezekiel 36v22 Therefore say unto the house
of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your
sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which
ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among
the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them;
and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord
GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather
you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own
land.
Zechariah 12v2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem
a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they
shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone
for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be
cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered
together against it.
Ezekiel 36v16 Moreover the word of the LORD
came unto me, saying,
17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own
land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings:
their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that
they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith
they had polluted it:
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed
through the countries: according to their way and according
to their doings I judged them.
20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went,
they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These
are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his
land.
21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel
had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the
Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel,
but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among
the heathen, whither ye went.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among
the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them;
and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord
GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather
you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own
land.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall
be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols,
will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will
I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out
of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk
in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers;
and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I
will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine
upon you.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase
of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine
among the heathen.
31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings
that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own
sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it
known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways,
O house of Israel.
33 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed
you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell
in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate
in the sight of all that passed by.
35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become
like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined
cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know
that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that
was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired
of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase
them with men like a flock.
38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn
feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of
men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Zechariah 13v8 And it shall come to pass,
that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall
be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will
refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold
is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them:
I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD
is my God.
Joel 3v1 For, behold, in those days, and in
that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah
and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down
into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there
for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered
among the nations, and parted my land.
3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a
boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might
drink.
4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon,
and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence?
and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return
your recompence upon your own head;
5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried
into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem
have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them
far from their border.
7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have
sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand
of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the
Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up
the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them
come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks
into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather
yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty
ones to come down, O LORD.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of
Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen
round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get
you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their
wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the
day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall
withdraw their shining.
16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice
from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake:
but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength
of the children of Israel.
17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in
Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and
there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
Luke 21v20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem
compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof
is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains;
and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and
let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which
are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that
give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress
in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall
be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall
be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles
be fulfilled.
Micah 4v9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud?
is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for
pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion,
like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of
the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt
go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the
LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
11 Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say,
Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand
they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves
into the floor.
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine
horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt
beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain
unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole
earth.
Isaiah 19v23 In that day shall there be a
highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come
into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians
shall serve with the Assyrians.
24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with
Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be
Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel
mine inheritance.
